In a normal situation when you plant yellow coloured soybean you are supposed to harvest yellow grains. If the colour has changed to brown that means there is segregation. For black grains there is only one vegetable soybean variety which has black colour but it's not yet been released so ruling out varietal mixture in this case. Maybe if you said soybean with yellow hilum changing to black hilum. Then this indicates offtypes. In some cases we have purple stained grains. That's normal when there are good rains. Please provide pictures of what you harvested to assist further.
